A couple in Certosa district of Milan were robbed but did not panic. Following the robber closely, the police arrested one person on the spot
In the Certosa district of Milan, via Marcantonio dal Re, a couple was walking when they were suddenly robbed. The man is a 28 year old Canadian tourist from Toronto. Someone attacked him from behind and stole the gold necklace from his neck. However, he and his girlfriend remained calm and kept a close eye on one of the robbers, buying time for the police to quickly respond and apprehend them.
After investigation, the police found that two North African men were close to the couple at that time. One of them suddenly grabbed the neck of a 28 year old man from behind, forcefully pulled off the gold necklace, and ran away. Another accomplice who was originally watching the wind nearby also rushed over and helped the accomplice escape.
Faced with this situation, couples did not fight hard. They secretly followed the two robbers from a distance while making a phone call to the police, telling them about the robbers' appearance and escape route. After receiving the clue, the patrol police car quickly arrived and stopped and captured one of the suspects on the nearby Via Espinasse.
The arrested individual is a 21-year-old Egyptian youth. He is illegally detained and has a criminal record before. Now, he has been handed over to the judicial authorities for suspected joint robbery. The police did not find the stolen gold necklace at the scene and are still investigating the whereabouts of another fleeing accomplice and the stolen property.
