[Job Duties]

• Children at the centre range from a few months old to five years old. Each class has a lead teacher, and the assistant mainly supports the teacher in caring for the children: helping children eat, changing diapers, settling them for naps, playing games and doing crafts with them, helping prepare teaching materials before activities, and tidying up the classroom after pick-up.
• You will not be solely responsible for a class, and you do not need to prepare lessons or write lesson plans; you just lend a hand according to the teacher's arrangements.

[Centre Atmosphere] The atmosphere at the centre is good; teachers help each other, and the director is easy to talk to.

[We Are Looking For]

• Someone who genuinely likes children and is patient. A Working with Children Check is preferred; if you do not have one, the centre will guide you on how to obtain it. An Early Childhood-related certificate is preferred; those without a certificate can start as classroom support, and the centre supports you in studying while working and taking Certificate III. No experience required; smiling and loving children matter most; experienced candidates preferred.
