Beijing Association Turns Ten! New Team Takes the Stage

A community organization endures not because of any individual's name, but because of the things everyone did together and the memories they shared.

At this tenth anniversary celebration, many important figures attended. Consul Shang Cheng from the Consulate General in Los Angeles, as well as Zhang Yong and Xiong Wensheng from the American Chinese Community Federation, and Yang Yifan from the American Chinese United Association, all came to congratulate and gave speeches. Many congratulatory letters were also received from home and abroad, which was a great honor.

The performances that evening were wonderful! Artists from Southern California brought many programs, adding cultural flavor to the tenth anniversary. The most exciting part was the "Beijing Association Male Model Squad" — guess what? It was composed of former presidents and officials! Their presence was so strong that it pushed the atmosphere of the party to its peak.

President Feng Ye presented a certificate of honor to founding president Xu Chengwu, and the scene was quite touching.

Ten years of passing the torch, ten years of staying true to the original mission. Now the new leadership team has taken over, and the Beijing Association is starting a new chapter. Everyone said they hope President Feng Ye will lead everyone to continue to unite hometown bonds, pass on culture, serve fellow villagers, and make this overseas home warm and cozy.
