Cancel after registration? Lombardy police crack down on shell company networks, exposing massive illegal funding chains

Recently, the Lombardy region police in Italy uncovered a major cross-border tax and employment fraud case. The case involves a large number of illegal workers, false invoicing, and tax evasion. The funds involved in the case eventually flowed from Italy to China through secret channels.

The investigation shows that the actions of this gang are very covert. They established a group of "shell companies" or "shell companies" specifically for receiving business and recruiting workers. But these companies simply do not pay taxes, social security, and value-added tax according to regulations, often deregistering or declaring bankruptcy after only a short period of time. Then, the individuals involved changed their names and registered new shell companies, continuing to repeat these illegal operations.

In addition to manipulating employment and taxation, this gang also falsely issued large amounts of commercial invoices to help related companies inflate costs and evade taxes. These illegally obtained large sums of money are not placed in local formal financial institutions, but are continuously remitted to China through underground banks and informal fund clearing networks, in order to evade tracking by financial regulators and tax authorities.

At present, the Italian tax police have taken measures to seize and investigate multiple companies and their responsible persons involved in the case. The police stated that this malicious tax evasion and illegal employment behavior seriously undermines the fair competition environment in the local market. The relevant departments will continue to increase their crackdown efforts, dig deeper into the flow of funds, and hold accountable all those involved in the case in accordance with the law.
