Recently, real estate agent Salvatore Cennaro showcased a studio apartment in the Loreto district on the "Morning News" program, and even he admitted: "This is one of the smallest houses I've ever seen." Although this apartment has all the necessities, it is extremely compact: a few steps from the door and you've seen it all — the dining area is next to the kitchen, the bathroom uses a hidden door design, and the TV is almost attached to the bed. The agent said the registered property area is 14 square meters, but the actual usable space is only 10 to 11 square meters. To cope with Milan's summer heat, an air conditioner was specially installed. Despite its tiny size, its money-making ability should not be underestimated. The listing focuses on short-term rentals, close to the Buenos Aires Avenue shopping area and the central train station, performing remarkably well on booking platforms with an occupancy rate as high as 93%, with guests mostly short-stay tourists. The agent revealed that if rented at full capacity, the landlord can earn up to 1,400 euros per month. For those interested in buying this ground-floor micro-apartment, an offer of at least around 170,000 euros is needed before the landlord would consider selling.
