North American Airport Satisfaction Ranking Released, Ontario and Burbank Enter Top Five in Their Class
Today in the United States, market research firm JD Power has released the 2026 North American Airport Satisfaction Survey. Airports in Minnesota, Florida, and South Carolina leave a good impression on travelers. In the super airport competition, Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport in Minnesota won first place. Among large airports, Tampa International Airport in Florida ranks first. Among medium-sized airports, Charleston International Airport in South Carolina ranks first.
This survey asked nearly 2500 residents of the United States or Canada. It measures passenger satisfaction from seven aspects, including inconvenience of airport access, trust of passengers in the airport, and facilities in the terminal building.
Taylor, General Manager of Tourism, Accommodation, and Retail at JD Power, said in a press release that in the past decade, almost all airports, from large international hubs to medium-sized airports, have begun to find ways to simplify passenger processes, increase delicious dining, and improve overall experiences. Overall, these efforts are starting to take effect, and the overall satisfaction score of passengers has increased.
